How are the cannoli shells and filling packed and shipped?
All Golden Cannoli Shells and fillings are carefully packed in our tightly sealed, weatherproof cooler and are kept frozen with dry ice. The cooler is then shipped via UPS. If only shells are ordered a corrugated box will be used without temperature control as it is not needed when filling is not shipped.
How long does delivery take?
We can ship orders without filling via UPS ground shipping, all orders including filling must be shipped via UPS 2-Day delivery to ensure freshness of the product. If you need/want your shells quickly, you must ship with another method (ie. Instead of ground, using 2-Day or Overnight), please select that shipping option during checkout.
If you need your product guaranteed for next day delivery (and it is not a Friday), please select the overnight shipping option and contact a customer service representative at 617-868-2826 to ensure that your order is processed and shipped same day. Otherwise, orders are processed the next business day and shipped within 2 business days of order being placed.

Are Saturday deliveries an option?
Not at the moment. Orders place on Friday will be processed on the following Monday and shipped within 2 business days.
Do I need to be home to receive the cannoli?
No. UPS will leave the cooler for you in our tightly sealed cooler at the location you specify when ordering. The cannoli will be safe and frozen until you get home. Please note that Golden Cannoli is not responsible for spoiled products if left outside for an extended period of time.
What if my order arrives on time but the dry ice is evaporated?
If your order arrives on time, but the dry ice has evaporated, do not be alarmed. As long as the food is still "refrigerator cold" to the touch, your order can be safely placed in the freezer or refrigerator with no impact on the quality. If you are using the filling within 48 hours of receiving the shipment you can place the filling in the refrigerator. If you will not be using the filling within the next 48 hours, place the filling in the freezer until 24 hours before using it. Where do you ship?
We ship to every address in the United States. Note that we can not ship to PO Boxes or APO/ FPO addresses, it is a UPS shipping policy. Shipping to international locations is not available at this time. Check back for updates on international shipments. Please ensure that you input correct shipping information when ordering. Golden Cannoli is not responsible for product going to an incorrect address due to misinformation provided on ordering page.
What is the cost of shipping via UPS?
Shipping rates are directly associated with the UPS zone in which the order is being shipped to as well as the weight and volume of the container being shipped. We realize that shipping costs are very important to our customers. Please understand that our shipping department is not a profit center for us, we are constantly working to keep your shipping costs as low as possible.

Can Golden Cannoli use my UPS Account #?
Shipping rates can be applied to a customer UPS Account # upon request. If you are interested in this option, please place your order as a pickup and make a note in the comment section providing your UPS Account #. A $8.00 charge will be added to the purchase for packaging and dry ice.
Can I return my product?
Due to the nature of our product, we can not accept returns on cannoli shells or kits. If there is excessive damage to a package received, please hold package as is and contact a Golden Cannoli Representative at 617-868-2826. A claim will be made through UPS for your damaged product and a refund will be issued for damaged portion of the shipment. Packages must remain in the state in which you received it so a UPS Representative can inspect the shipment. |
